Compliance and merchant responsibilities

Information to review before using a custodial crypto payment service for your business.

Understand the service

BluPay provides merchant tools for collecting crypto payments and managing the resulting payment records and balances. The service is custodial: BluPay manages the payment wallets, and withdrawals follow a separate authorization and review workflow.

A payment integration does not establish that a business, product, or transaction is lawful in every jurisdiction. Before onboarding, confirm with BluPay whether the service is available for your location and business activity, and request the contracting-entity and regulatory information your due diligence requires.

Merchant responsibilities

  • Use BluPay only for lawful business and comply with the laws that apply to you.
  • Do not use the service for prohibited or sanctioned activity, or to obscure the source of funds.
  • Provide accurate business information and confirm any onboarding or verification requirements before accepting customer payments.

Business and transaction checks

Before integrating, establish who your customers are where your business requires it, what you are selling, and how you handle suspicious orders, refunds, and customer complaints. Crypto payment acceptance does not replace your own fraud prevention, sanctions, tax, consumer-protection, or record-keeping responsibilities.

If your business requires a particular anti-money-laundering (AML) or sanctions-screening process, ask BluPay for the current scope and supporting information before relying on the service for that requirement. This page does not certify a transaction or describe an independently audited AML program.

Payment records and data

Keep the invoice identifier, order reference, asset and network, payment state, fees, and any refund or withdrawal reference needed for your business records. Review our Privacy policy for information about data handling. Direct business-verification questions or suspected misuse reports to support@blupay.me.

This page explains service considerations and merchant responsibilities; it is not a licence, regulatory approval, legal opinion, or substitute for the terms agreed for your use of BluPay. Consult a qualified adviser about requirements that apply to your business.
